- I used to be in an accapella group in the early 90's at Washington Wilkes Comprehensive Highschool in Washington Georgia. I was in the band for a short period of time because I was unable to afford an instrument so I had to drop out of that elective. As years rolled by I grew up from being homeless and granduating highschool straight unto adult hood which really started at the age of 11 with my three brothers who don't want to be named for the world to know. I met a beautiful young lady named Marlena Evans who did not care what people had to say about me. They thought that she must have been retarded to be with me. Unlike everyone else I did not have money, street credibility for being hard, but no one would bother me though. I did the best that I could to raise myself but all of the credit goes to my brother (Next to the oldest) for being there like he was. I knew that it was hard but he managed to do a good job. In 2000 I started recording music for the church and later myself for my bible studies. I was introduced to a program called Reason 2.5 by my cousin Philip Perkins Jr. He showed my some of the things that he learned and I took it from there. Months of studing the process and learning what a compressor do along with limiters and modulations to create unique sounds sparked my interest in music to an all time high. In 2005 I decided to start recording vocals so I turned to Cakewalk LE with my purchase of a Samsun large diaphram condenser microphone. I loved it so much I bought Sonar 7 Producer Edition. My wife told me that my music sounded better than what was on the radio so I started recording people who wanted to be heard. In 2008 I decided to start my own label. I was looking at numerous artists but non had that spark that I was looking for. After almost giving up looking for an artist I found Taurus Wilkerson AKA Ga. Biggz. I did not want to be in the lime light so I put all of my time and effort into him. Ga. Biggz was hurt severely by people in the music business that he moved back to Washington Georgia almost giving up his life long dream of becoming a rapper. Ga. Biggz could sing also so he was a great pick of versityle artists. He had numerous of songs already written. The only thing he was missing was the instrumentals in which I had already accumilated numerous of beats to complete 5 albums. My instrumentals and his lyrics were a marraige. Later I descovered a second talented artist in 2009 by the name of Egypt. She could sing, write music and play the piano so she became an addition to Dregnoc and Benk Productions. Now the only thing that is left to do is get them heard by the general public. Egypt was in the top 25 for the Talent Takeover for Power 107.7 in Augusta Georgia, we opened for Pastor Troy, then OJ the juiceman in Sparta Georgia.....to be continued
