About Me:

I am a veteran radio and TV announcer; record producer and former recording artist.
Originally from Chicago, and worked as a Deejay in Alexandria, LA; Chicago, San Francisco and St. Louis. Started black talk radio in 1979 in St . Louis. I was also the Midwestern Promotional and Marketing director for MCA and ABC Record, and produced several songs on the CBS Records lable. I recorded for Stax, 4 Brother and other lables.
I also started the first Black record distributorship in St. Louis.
I am now a professor at Webster University and the author of the book "The Death of Black Radio".
I am ready to release a new CD on Uvee Hayes. I am looking for a distribution outlet.
