Now if people want to take something from this. An even better way to capitalize is to make a "mixtape" cd. You can perform songs on a boardwalk or wherever it is that you choose after receiving your permit, & sell your mixtape there, But have information placed there inside the cd & in the area so people can go online (Via Itunes, Amazon, CDBaby, etc.) to purchase your actual mastered cd. That way you can generate in more ways than one & if you want to be an established artist in the industries eye you'll have that record of sale online. Just my food for thought on the subject.
