All the fans of good looking people, food, fun, music, great poetry and vocal talent!!! we invite you to an awesome thursday event that you'll surely speak higly of on friday mornings. "Poetry Cafe" will take place every Thursday starting Thursday April 23. 2009 @ 7-pm....a great atomosphere and even better food provided by the venue LeJean's Cafe & Deli.
This event is for poetry, spoken word, and vocal talent only...so if you're looking for something different to do (Hint Fellas: perfect first or second date) come out and enjoy "Poetry Cafe". FYI...
Here in Atlanta, GA there are an abundance of open mics and talent showcases. Most of these showcases become Rap contest...leaving little to no room for poets and real vocalist. We are looking to change that and create a weekly stage and performace atmosphere for poets and vocalist only! This may also lead to other booking opportunities. We love hip hop, but please no rappers at this one! Please ALL poets and vocalist this is for YOU...only you can make each night successful. Free to perform, please contact us to express your interest with your contact info, your talent and any weblinks. Looking forward to starting this in April, we'll discuss the details with you upon your response. We can't wait to hear from you and share your talents with Atlanta!!
