What recording program do you use?

I use Pro Tools 7.3. I have Logic and Reason but don't use those two. How about you? Which recording programs do you use?

Im FL Studio, Sony Vaio, and Adobe Audition 2 or 3. And, as others have stated, a near endless supply of plugs, sounds, and the like. I also have Cubase SX3, but never quite tried to learn it because of Adobe's User-friendliness.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Monts! ter® on October 10, 2008 at 4:45pm: Nothing wrong with messing with Cubase. You know you can rewire Fruity Loop so while you are recording or tracking out in Cubase, you can have FL running and you can record to Cubase straight from FL. I do it with ACID and Reason.

Permalink Reply by Gregory Perkins Sr. on September 14, 2009 at 10:52am: I use Protools 7.4, Reason 4.0, Sonar 7 Producer Edition. I use all of those programs. I like how things sound so good with protools but I can get the same sound from Sonar 7. Protools can use reason in rewire but I have not figured out how to use it correctly with Sonar 7. I can do everything but use the midi and virtual instruments with that. I have only been recording and producing for 5 years now. I use a Mac and a customed PC that I built to run all of my programs. I use Project Studio Mic and a Large diaphram Samsun Mic, Mackie MR8's, M-Audio Pro 88 Keyboard/Control surface, M-Audio Project Mix I/O Control Surface Board, Art Tube Mic Pre, Behringer compressor/limiter, Waves Gold and Platinum VST Bundles, and numerous secondary VST Plug-ins.; ▶ Reply to This
