JUST BOUGHT A ROLAND PHANTOM X6 HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE IT .ANYBODY GOT VIDEO'S. I NEED TO USE IT MULTITIMBRAL .AND I WANNA KNOW ABOUT AUTOCHOP. THE MPC 2000XL DON'T HAVE IT.

You can daisy chain all you want, but you have to do it with a Time Code Distripalizer. AArdvark makes the best one. Big Ben is the Mother of clocks in the Apogee line but the Company Aardvark is one of the best. It Locks tight and provides for much free wheeling so if the sync drops it will give the errors time to correct and catch up.

One test i had to take in school before graduating was to lock up all gear in every studio on the campus at one time.

All of the studios had tie lines to each other, so by patch bay i locked up atleast 5 Studer 24 tracks to a rack of Alesis HD24s AND Otari MTR 90s One master reel of tape controlling all transports in 5 other studios. Sync is beautiful.

ok... the UNO helps you do 2 things with the MPC....
1. You can sync your MPC with whatever Audio Software you're using....
And 2. You can transmit Midi data (Not the actual sounds) to your computer to control Virtual Instruments (Like battery) within your Software....
But once you install the driver (Download the newest driver from the site... don't use the ones that come with it) and plug it up, the rest is dependent on what DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you are using
Sorry if that was too basic.. I wasn't trying to offend you... That was for the benefit of anyone reading this who might not know about the MPC or midi
